Incinerating Waste<\/a>, Increasing Safety: The Nyagatare District Hospital<\/a> Experience in Rwanda<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

In Rwanda<\/a>, a small country located in the eastern part of Africa<\/a>, waste<\/a> management has become a significant concern, particularly in healthcare facilities. The Nyagatare District Hospital<\/a>, located in the northeastern part of the country, has taken a significant step towards improving waste<\/a> management and increasing safety for patients, staff, and the environment. This article highlights the hospital<\/a>’s experience with incinerating waste<\/a> and the positive impact it has had on safety and the environment.<\/p>\n

The Challenge of Waste<\/a> Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Nyagatare District Hospital<\/a>, like many other healthcare facilities in Rwanda<\/a>, faced significant challenges in managing its waste<\/a>.
