Rwanda<\/a>, a small landlocked country in Eastern Africa<\/a>, has made significant strides in recent years to improve its healthcare system. One of the key initiatives that has helped transform the country’s medical<\/a> landscape is the introduction of a waste<\/a> incinerator<\/a> at the Military<\/a> Referral and Teaching Hospital<\/a> in Kigali, the capital city. This innovative approach to medical<\/a> waste<\/a> management has not only improved the safety and hygiene of healthcare facilities but also set a new standard for environmental<\/a> sustainability in the region.<\/p>\n

The incinerator<\/a>, which uses advanced technology<\/a> to burn waste<\/a> at high temperatures, has the capacity to handle up to 500 kilograms of medical<\/a> waste<\/a> per day.
