Waste<\/a> Incineration<\/a> at University Teaching Hospital<\/a> of Kigali: A Review of the Current Practices, Challenges, and Opportunities for Improvement<\/strong><\/p>\n

The University Teaching Hospital<\/a> of Kigali (UTH-K) is one of the largest and most reputable healthcare facilities in Rwanda<\/a>, providing medical<\/a> services to thousands of patients every year. However, the hospital<\/a>’s operations generate a significant amount of waste<\/a>, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Waste<\/a> incineration<\/a> is one of the methods used by the hospital<\/a> to manage its waste<\/a>, but it poses several challenges and opportunities for improvement. This article reviews the current practices, challenges, and opportunities for improvement of waste<\/a> incineration<\/a> at UTH-K.<\/p>\n
