The Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital<\/a> (ABUTH), located in Zaria, Nigeria, is one of the largest teaching hospitals in West Africa<\/a>, providing medical<\/a> care to thousands of patients every year. However, like many other healthcare facilities in the region, ABUTH faces significant challenges in managing its waste<\/a>, including hazardous medical<\/a> waste<\/a>.<\/p>\n
