However, one of the major challenges facing the country’s healthcare sector is the management of healthcare waste<\/a>. The improper disposal<\/a> of medical<\/a> waste<\/a> poses a significant threat to public health<\/a>, environmental<\/a> sustainability, and the overall well-being of the population. In response to this challenge, the Kibagabaga Hospital<\/a> in Kigali, Rwanda<\/a>’s capital city, has implemented a state-of-the-art incinerator<\/a> to manage its healthcare waste<\/a>. This article explores the Kibagabaga Hospital<\/a> incinerator<\/a> experience and its implications for healthcare waste management<\/a> in Rwanda<\/a>.<\/p>\n
