The Kenyan government has established regulations and guidelines for medical<\/a> waste<\/a> management, but implementation remains a challenge, particularly in rural areas.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The PCEA Turi Dispensary, a faith-based healthcare facility, serves a population of over 10,000 people in the surrounding area. In 2018, the dispensary installed a waste<\/a> incinerator<\/a> to manage its medical<\/a> waste<\/a>.
