Tanzania<\/a>, like many other developing countries, faces significant challenges in managing medical<\/a> waste<\/a>. The lack of adequate infrastructure, insufficient funding, and limited expertise have hindered the development of effective waste<\/a> management systems. Medical<\/a> waste<\/a>, which includes materials like syringes, needles, and contaminated gloves, poses a high risk of infection and disease<\/a> transmission if not disposed of properly.
