This article aims to assess the effects of the incinerator<\/a> on the environment and human health<\/a>, and to provide recommendations for mitigating any negative consequences.<\/p>\n

Introduction to the Incinerator<\/h2>\n

The Kilindi District Hospital<\/a>’s incinerator<\/a> is a medium-sized, combustion<\/a>-based waste<\/a> management facility that operates at temperatures between 800\u00b0C to 1000\u00b0C. The incinerator<\/a> is designed to burn medical<\/a> waste<\/a>, including infectious and non-infectious materials, at a rate of 50 kg per hour.
