However, like many healthcare facilities in East Africa<\/a>, the center faced significant challenges in managing its medical<\/a> waste<\/a>. In response to this challenge, BIRUYE Health<\/a> Center invested in a state-of-the-art waste<\/a> incinerator<\/a>, which has become a best practice model for healthcare waste management<\/a> in the region.<\/p>\n
