However, this method of waste<\/a> disposal<\/a> has been shown to have significant environmental<\/a> impacts. This article presents a study on the environmental<\/a> impact of medical<\/a> waste<\/a> incineration<\/a> at Clinique de Byumba, a healthcare facility in Rwanda<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Introduction<\/h2>\n

Clinique de Byumba is a healthcare facility located in the Byumba district of Rwanda<\/a>. The facility generates a significant amount of medical<\/a> waste<\/a>, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Medical<\/a> waste<\/a> incineration<\/a> is the primary method of waste<\/a> disposal<\/a> at the facility. However, there is growing concern about the environmental<\/a> impacts of this practice.<\/p>\n
