This process is designed to reduce the volume of waste<\/a> and destroy pathogens, but it can also release toxic pollutants into the air and water. The incineration<\/a> process can emit harmful gases such as dioxins, furans, and particulate matter, which can have adverse effects on human health<\/a> and the environment.<\/p>\n

Methodology<\/strong><\/p>\n

This study was conducted over a period of six months, from January to June 2022. Air and water samples were collected from the hospital<\/a>’s incinerator<\/a> and surrounding areas to assess the levels of pollutants emitted during the incineration<\/a> process.
