Waste<\/a> incineration<\/a> is a common waste<\/a> management practice in many healthcare facilities, including dispensaries, in developing countries. However, the process of burning<\/a> waste<\/a> can have significant environmental<\/a> and health<\/a> implications, particularly in areas with inadequate waste<\/a> management infrastructure. This study aimed to investigate community perceptions of waste<\/a> incineration<\/a> at Kiangunyi Dispensary, a rural healthcare facility in Kenya, and assess the level of public health<\/a> and environmental<\/a> awareness among community members.<\/p>\n

Kiangunyi Dispensary is a government-owned healthcare facility that provides primary healthcare services to a population of approximately 10,000 people.
