This article presents a case study on the environmental<\/a> impact of medical<\/a> waste<\/a> incineration<\/a> at Misenyi Health<\/a> Centre in Tanzania<\/a>, highlighting the effects on air and water quality, soil pollution<\/a>, and human health<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Misenyi Health<\/a> Centre is a public healthcare facility located in the Kagera Region of Tanzania<\/a>. The centre provides primary healthcare services to the local community, including outpatient and inpatient services, maternity care, and laboratory services. Like many healthcare facilities in Tanzania<\/a>, Misenyi Health<\/a> Centre uses incineration<\/a> as a method of medical waste disposal<\/a>. However, the incineration<\/a> process has been criticized for its potential environmental<\/a> and health<\/a> impacts.<\/p>\n

Medical<\/a> Waste<\/a> Incineration<\/a> at Misenyi Health<\/a> Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n
