However, one challenge that still persists is the management of medical<\/a> waste<\/a>. The improper disposal<\/a> of medical<\/a> waste<\/a> poses serious health<\/a> and environmental<\/a> risks, including the spread of infectious diseases and contamination of soil and water. In this article, we will explore the lessons learned from Gahini District Hospital<\/a>’s experience with its incinerator<\/a>, a crucial component of effective waste<\/a> management in Rwanda<\/a>’s healthcare sector.<\/p>\n
