The chamber<\/a> should be insulated and refractory lined with high temperature<\/a> and heat resistant material.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Should be fitted with burners that use low sulphur fuel.
Auxiliary air supply should be controlled.
Ensure residence time is not less than two seconds.
Ensure that the gas<\/a> temperature<\/a> as measured against the inside wall in the secondary chamber<\/a> and not in the flame zone is 
not less than 1100 degrees centigrade.
Ensure the emitted oxygen content of the emitted gases is not less than 11%
Ensure both primary and secondary combustion<\/a> temperatures are maintained until all waste<\/a> is completely combusted.
Heat input from the afterburner should be controlled automatically by the programmable digital control system, such that 
in the event of temperatures in excess of 950\u00b0C – 1,050\u00b0C being transferred from the primary chamber<\/a> the afterburner 
will switch off to conserve fuel.
Provide  2  burners-  1  diesel<\/a>  fired  packaged  primary  burner<\/a>  and  a  single  secondary afterburner.
The  burners  should  be  temperature<\/a>  controlled  to  conserve  fuel  and  attain  optimum combustion<\/a>.
